M4 Stainless Steel Bow Shackle Screw Pin – 5 Pack Rigging

M4 Stainless Steel Bow Shackle with Screw Pin – 5 Pack

Built for strength and long-lasting performance, this M4 Stainless Steel Bow Shackle with Screw Pin is an essential rigging and hardware component for boating, sailing, camping, lifting, and general load-securing tasks. The D-bow design distributes load evenly while the threaded screw pin locks securely to prevent accidental release under tension.

Key Features

• Marine-Grade Stainless Steel: Resistant to corrosion, rust, and the elements — performs reliably in wet, outdoor, and high-humidity environments.

• Bow (Omega) Shape: Wide bow accommodates rope, wire rope, chain, straps, and hooks across a broader load-bearing surface.
• 5-Piece Value Pack: Stock up with five identical shackles — ideal for multi-point rigging, anchor lines, block-and-tackle setups, and more.
• Versatile Use: Suitable for sailing, marine rigging, camping gear attachment, load securing, tent/tarp anchoring, hardware projects, and DIY setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a bow shackle with screw pin used for?

A: A bow shackle with screw pin is a versatile rigging connector used to link ropes, chains, wire ropes, hooks, and other hardware components. The bow (omega-shaped) design spreads the load across a wider area compared to a D-shackle, making it ideal for multi-leg slings, rigging lines, anchor setups, camping gear, and general load-securing tasks.

Q: Is this bow shackle suitable for outdoor and marine use?

A: Yes. The M4 Stainless Steel Bow Shackle is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, making it well-suited for marine environments, outdoor rigging, camping, and other applications where exposure to moisture or the elements is expected. The polished finish also makes it easy to clean and maintain.

Q: How do I secure the screw pin so it doesn't come loose?

A: Thread the screw pin fully into the bow until snug. For applications where vibration or repeated movement could loosen the pin, you can use a small piece of seizing wire through the pin hole to lock it in place — a common practice in marine and rigging applications. Always inspect the shackle before each use to confirm the pin is fully seated.

Q: How many shackles are included in this pack?

A: This listing includes 5 x M4 Stainless Steel Bow Shackles with screw pins, giving you a convenient multi-piece set for use across multiple connection points or to keep spares on hand.
