Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I install the self-adhesive door bottom sealing strip?

A: Installation is simple and tool-free. Clean the bottom edge of your door with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive side of the PVC sealing strip and firmly press it along the bottom of your door. Allow the adhesive to set for a few minutes before using the door. The strip is designed to align flush with the door edge for a neat, professional finish.

Q: Can I cut the sealing strip to fit a shorter door?

A: Yes. The 93 cm PVC sealing strip can be trimmed to your required length using a sharp pair of scissors or a utility knife. Simply measure the width of your door, mark the strip, and cut cleanly for a precise fit.

Q: Is this door seal strip suitable for exterior doors?

A: Absolutely. The premium flexible PVC material is durable enough for exterior door use, providing an effective barrier against wind, dust, and insects. Its corrugated bottom design also minimizes friction on various floor surfaces, including tile, hardwood, and carpet.

Q: How does the PVC strip compare to foam or rubber door seals?

A: PVC offers superior flexibility and a longer lifespan compared to foam seals, which can compress and lose effectiveness over time. Unlike rubber strips, this PVC strip maintains its shape and sealing performance even with frequent door use, making it a more durable and cost-effective long-term solution.
