Polaris 180 280 380 Pool Cleaner Hose Swivel & Nut Kit

Keep Your Pool Cleaner Running Smoothly

The Polaris Pool Cleaner Hose Swivel & Hose Nut Replacement Kit is a precision-engineered plastic replacement part designed for Polaris 180, 280, and 380 automatic pool cleaners. Whether you need a D20 hose swivel or D15 hose nuts, this kit ensures your pool cleaner's hose moves freely without tangling — keeping your cleaning sessions efficient and uninterrupted.

Swivel connections are critical to automatic pool cleaner performance. A worn or damaged swivel causes hose kinking and tangling, reducing cleaning coverage and stressing your cleaner's drive mechanism. Replacing it promptly keeps your system performing at its best.

Why Replace Your Pool Cleaner Hose Swivel?

Over time, swivel connectors wear down from constant rotation and chemical exposure. A functioning swivel allows your Polaris pool cleaner hose to pivot freely as the unit navigates pool walls and floors, maximizing the cleaner's reach and efficiency. Keeping swivel components in good condition is a simple yet impactful part of pool maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which Polaris pool cleaner models is this hose swivel compatible with?

A: This replacement hose swivel and hose nut kit is designed for Polaris 180, 280, and 380 automatic pool cleaners. It is a direct-fit replacement for the original factory D20 swivel and D15 hose nuts used in these models.

Q: What is the difference between the D20 hose swivel and D15 hose nuts?

A: The D20 hose swivel is the rotating connector that allows the pool cleaner hose to pivot freely, preventing tangling during operation. The D15 hose nuts are the locking connectors that secure hose sections together. This listing lets you choose the option that matches your replacement need — one D20 swivel or two D15 hose nuts.

Q: How do I know if my pool cleaner hose swivel needs replacing?

A: Signs that your swivel needs replacement include the hose tangling or kinking frequently during cleaning cycles, restricted hose movement, visible cracking or warping of the swivel body, or a noticeable reduction in your pool cleaner's cleaning coverage. Replacing the swivel is a quick and cost-effective fix.

Q: Is this a DIY-friendly installation?

A: Yes! Replacing the hose swivel or hose nuts on a Polaris pool cleaner is a straightforward process that requires no special tools. Simply disconnect the affected hose section, swap in the new swivel or nuts, and reconnect. Most users complete the replacement in just a few minutes.
