Nylon Butterfly Expansion Bolts for Drywall & Gypsum – 50pcs

Meet the Nylon Butterfly Expansion Bolt — a premium wall-fastening solution engineered specifically for drywall, gypsum board, and hollow-wall installations. Whether you're hanging shelves, mounting fixtures, or securing brackets, this 50-piece set delivers rock-solid holding power every single time.

Why These Expansion Bolts Stand Out

Unlike standard anchors, the butterfly-wing design spreads load across a wide surface area behind the wall panel. As you tighten the screw, the ribbed nylon plug splits and expands on two opposing sides, creating a secure mechanical lock that won't spin, slip, or pull through. The integrated anti-rotation structure in the expansion sleeve keeps everything perfectly aligned during installation — no more frustrating spinning anchors.

• Material: High-strength nylon — lightweight yet tough enough for repeated daily use
• Size: 30 × 50 mm — ideal for standard drywall and gypsum board thicknesses
• Quantity: 50 pieces per set — plenty for a full project or ongoing maintenance tasks
• Available in 2 color options for easy job-site identification
• Butterfly/wing anchor design — expands on two opposing sides for superior grip in hollow walls
• Anti-rotation sleeve structure — prevents the anchor from spinning during screw tightening
• Ribbed exterior — bites into the wall cavity to resist pull-out forces
• Suitable for gypsum board, drywall, plasterboard, and similar hollow or cavity walls

How to Install

1. Drill a clean hole in the gypsum or drywall to match the anchor diameter.
2. Insert the nylon butterfly anchor fully into the hole.
3. Drive the included screw through your fixture and into the anchor.
4. As the screw tightens, the wings expand and lock behind the panel — secure and ready to use.

Perfect For

• Hanging shelves, mirrors, and picture frames on drywall
• Mounting curtain rails, towel bars, and bathroom accessories
• Securing light fixtures and junction boxes to hollow walls

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What type of walls are nylon butterfly expansion bolts designed for?

A: These nylon butterfly expansion bolts are specifically designed for hollow or cavity walls, including gypsum board, drywall, and plasterboard. The butterfly wings expand behind the panel to create a secure anchor point where traditional screws would have no grip.

Q: How does the anti-rotation structure work on these expansion bolts?

A: The expansion sleeve features a built-in anti-rotation design that locks the anchor in place as soon as it is inserted into the drilled hole. This prevents the entire anchor from spinning when you drive the screw, ensuring a clean, frustration-free installation every time.

Q: What size drill bit should I use for the 30 × 50 mm butterfly anchor?

A: You should match your drill bit diameter to the outer diameter of the anchor body. Always refer to the anchor packaging or test-fit in a spare scrap piece of drywall before drilling your final hole to ensure a snug, secure fit.

Q: Are these expansion bolts reusable?

A: Nylon butterfly expansion bolts are generally designed for single-use installation. Once the wings have expanded and locked behind the wall panel, removal may distort the anchor. For best results, install in permanent or long-term mounting applications.
