Installation Tips

These lights are supplied without resistors. Always connect to a 3V DC power supply or add appropriate resistors if using a different voltage source. Secure the base to your baseboard with a small amount of modelling adhesive for a neat, professional finish. Wire management can be threaded through pre-drilled holes beneath the baseboard.

Please note: The actual colour of the item may appear slightly different from website photos due to variations in monitor brightness and ambient lighting conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What scale are these model railway yard flood lights?

A: These twin LED yard flood lights are designed for OO / 00 gauge model railways at 1:76 scale, the most popular scale for British model railway layouts. They are sized to replicate full-size yard floodlights accurately within that scale.

Q: What power supply do I need for these LED yard lights?

A: These lights do not include resistors, so you must use a suitable 3V DC power supply to drive them safely. Alternatively, you can add your own resistors to use them with a different voltage source. Always check your layout's power setup before connecting.

Q: What are the lights made from?

A: The yard flood light units are made from durable plastic, keeping them lightweight and easy to install on any model railway baseboard. The pre-wired LEDs provide a reliable, long-lasting light source for your layout.

Q: Where can I use these twin LED flood lights on my layout?
