Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What keyboards are these heart shaped keycaps compatible with?

A: These heart shaped blank PBT keycaps are designed with a standard Cherry MX cross stem, making them compatible with the vast majority of mechanical keyboards that use Cherry MX or Cherry MX-compatible switches — including popular brands like Gateron, Kailh, and Outemu.

Q: Why is PBT better than ABS for keycaps?

A: PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a denser, more durable plastic than ABS. It resists shine and wear much better over time, maintains a pleasant texture, and produces a satisfying, deeper sound when typing — making it the preferred choice among keyboard enthusiasts and DIY builders.

Q: Can I paint or customize the blank surface of these keycaps?

A: Yes! The blank, no-engraving surface is ideal for DIY customization. You can paint them, apply nail art, use resin, add stickers, or use them as-is for a minimalist accent. The smooth PBT surface takes most acrylic paints and craft finishes well.

Q: How many keycaps come in one set?

A: Each set contains 10 heart shaped 1U PBT keycaps. This gives you enough to customize multiple positions on your keyboard or spread across more than one board.
