Before placing the eartips in your ears, ensure they point forward (away from you) to align with your ear canals for comfort and maximum sound transmission. Hold the headset in front of you with one eartube in each hand, pull it open, and gently place the eartips in your ears. If the fit feels off or acoustics are lacking, adjust by squeezing the eartubes together to increase tension, or pulling them apart to decrease it. Wearing the eartips pointing backwards will result in a poor acoustic seal and reduced sound quality.
When using a double-sided chest piece, rotate it to open (index) whichever side you need — bell or diaphragm. When one side is open, the other is automatically closed, preventing unwanted sound interference.
