Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is this door bottom seal strip used for?

A: This self-adhesive door bottom seal strip is designed to close the gap between the bottom of your door and the floor. It blocks wind, dust, insects, and noise from entering your space, while also helping to maintain indoor temperature by preventing warm or cool air from escaping — making your home or office more energy-efficient all year round.

Q: What material is the seal strip made from?

A: The strip is made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a premium flexible material that is both durable and resilient. TPE maintains its shape and performance across a wide range of temperatures, making it ideal for use on both interior and exterior doors.

Q: How long is each roll, and will one roll cover my door?

A: Each roll is 1 metre (100cm) long. This is sufficient for most standard single-door widths. If your door is wider, simply order multiple rolls. The strip can also be easily trimmed to size with scissors for a precise fit.

Q: Is this strip easy to install without professional help?

A: Yes — installation is straightforward and tool-free. Clean and dry the surface at the base of your door, peel off the adhesive backing, align the strip, and press firmly into place. Most people complete the installation in under 5 minutes.
