Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What dial indicators are compatible with these extension stem rods?

A: These extension stem rods feature a standard M2.5 thread, making them compatible with most dial indicators and digital indicators that accept M2.5 threaded contact points or stem extensions. Always verify your indicator's thread specification before purchasing.

Q: How many rods are included and what lengths are available?

A: The set includes 18 extension stem rods with lengths ranging from 10mm to 100mm, giving you a comprehensive range for measuring depths and distances in various applications — from shallow recesses to deeper bores.

Q: What material are the extension rods made from?

A: Each rod in this set is precision-machined from durable metal, ensuring dimensional stability, accurate thread engagement, and long-lasting performance even in demanding workshop conditions.

Q: Can these rods be combined or stacked for even greater reach?

A: Yes — because all rods share the same M2.5 thread standard, multiple rods can be connected end-to-end to achieve greater reach, provided your indicator's measurement range accommodates the added extension. Test for rigidity and accuracy when stacking multiple rods.
