Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What type of windows is this sealing strip compatible with?

A: The 4M Flexible TPE Window Sealing Strip is specifically designed for plastic-steel (PVC) window and door frames. Its flexible TPE construction allows it to conform closely to the contours of most standard PVC window profiles for a reliable, gap-free seal.

Q: How long is each roll and is it enough for a full window?

A: Each roll contains 4 metres of sealing strip, which is typically sufficient to weatherstrip one large window or one standard door frame. For multiple windows, you may want to order additional rolls.

Q: Does the sealing strip require any special tools or adhesives to install?

A: No special tools or extra adhesives are needed. The strip features a strong self-adhesive backing — simply peel away the protective liner and press firmly onto a clean, dry window frame surface for an instant, secure bond.

Q: Will the TPE material harden or crack in cold weather?

A: TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is specifically chosen for its long-term flexibility across a range of temperatures. Unlike standard foam or rubber strips, TPE remains soft and pliable even in colder conditions, maintaining an effective seal through changing seasons.
