Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does the 125dB personal safety alarm keychain work?

A: The personal safety alarm works through a simple pin-pull mechanism. When you pull the pin out, the device immediately emits a loud 125dB siren and activates a flashing red LED light to draw attention. To turn it off, simply re-insert the pin. No buttons or complex steps required — it's designed for quick, stress-free activation.

Q: Is this personal safety alarm suitable for children?

A: Yes! The compact size, lightweight build, and simple pin-pull activation make it a great safety tool for children, students, and teenagers. It can easily attach to a school backpack or bag strap with its non-removable keychain latch, giving parents and caregivers extra peace of mind.

Q: How loud is 125dB, and why does it matter?

A: 125dB is comparable to the sound of a jet engine at close range — it is extremely loud and designed to be heard from a significant distance. This high decibel level is intentional: a sudden, piercing alarm is one of the most effective ways to draw attention in a public space quickly.

Q: Can I carry this on my keychain or bag every day?

A: Absolutely. The alarm features a non-removable keychain latch that securely attaches to keys, handbags, backpacks, belt loops, and more. Its compact dimensions (56.5 × 32 × 32 mm) mean it won't weigh you down or take up space.
